David graduated from UMIST as a Chemical Engineer in 1973 and joined KBR with whom he spent 40 years in Process Engineering. During his early career he worked on refinery and petrochemical projects in Europe and the Middle and Far East. In the final 23 years of his career, David specialised in Gas Processing and Carbon Capture and Storage. He lead the process design teams on a number of world-scale gas projects including Troll Onshore, Karsto Upgrade, In Salah Gas, Dragon LNG and Shah Deniz 2. Since retiring from KBR in 2013, he has worked as an Instructor for Petroskills / John M Campbell and as an independent process consultant for JGC UK Ltd, Pieridae Energy on Goldboro LNG and for MSE Ltd on Lake Charles LNG.
David is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a director of European Gas Processors Association Ltd.
